The US Prime plans compared
Amazon lists four US Prime memberships. Two of them anyone can buy — Prime monthly and Prime annual, which are the same membership billed two ways. The other two carry a condition: Prime for Young Adults is described for people aged 18 to 24 and for higher-education students, and Prime Access is described for qualifying government assistance recipients and for customers who verify by income. Amazon states that the discounted rates carry the same benefits as a regular membership.

A Prime member can share certain benefits with one other adult in an Amazon Household. Amazon bounds that in its own words — many of Prime's benefits, not all of them.

What the official pages leave open
Which benefits does Prime Access share with a household? The plan page names the Young Adults exclusion and is silent on Access, and no official description of that rate states whether Household sharing is among them.
